Hello there!!
It was announce last year that NARS will be collaborating with Brit designer Christopher Kane to release a limited edition collection.
Talking about his new collaboration, Christopher said: “NARS has been a long-standing and valued partner of ours, so this collaboration was an obvious fit. NARS has the same unapologetic aesthetic that is signature to the Christopher Kane brand and I’m excited to share what we’ve created together.”

This collection will be launched in May this year.. around 6th May. In fact, the colours of the collection were used in Christopher’s Spring/Summer 2015 runway show at London Fashion Week. Below are some backstage looks featuring the collection.

As you can see from the looks above, the look is very luminous and somewhat of a “no-makeup” luminous healthy look.
I had the chance to preview the collection a while back. The packaging features a hot pink and black theme with Christopher Kane printed across the packaging.

The collection is made up of:
- 1 hot pink blush
- 1 shimmery highlighter
- 1 eyeshadow duo – champagne and lilac shades which are very shimmery and sparkly
- 1 single eyeshadow – warm glittery peach color
- 1 lilac multiple
- 4 lip glosses
(I don’t have the names of each individual item yet, will update this post once I get them!)

The hot pink blush looks gorgeous, it is a true HOT PINK. However, I was pretty disappointed at the quality of this blush, it was quite dry and draggy when swatched. The pigmentation was also not as strong as expected, definitely not in the same league as the usual permanent NARS blushes. I believe it would still work quite nicely, when used with a brush.

The eyeshadows were beautiful!! They were so sparkly and shimmery and awesome! I couldn’t resist dabbing some of the eyeshadow single onto the centre part of my eyelid for an extra pop of oomph! They were all very buttery and pigmented, definitely something to look out for.
As I was browsing through my pics for this post, I realised that I don’t have swatches of the lip glosses, the multiple and the highlighter! Eeeeks…
